THE REAL BRICK YARD

 This is a range of bricks, tiles, slates and paving materials in 1:19 scale made from the real materials. Cement grout and P.V.A.
 adhesive is also available to lay the bricks, tiles, slates and paving using the normal techniques used for the real thing. The following
 range is available now and following additions will be made should demand arise. All these materials were carried as wagon loads, 
 these are eminently suitable, especially slates for your slate wagons.

BRICKS and BLOCKS

BYB1 pk. 100 & BYB2 pk. 250 Victorian Multi-red bricks
 These are a typical red Victorian brick and superior quality to the Red bricks.

 They are packed in quantities of 100 or 250.

BYB3 pk. 250 Red bricks
A cheaper brick typical of smaller Brick Works and not so regular in size, used for
vernacular buildings of cheaper construction.

Packed in quantities of 250.

NOTE
It is advisable that you carry out a proper estimation of the quantity of bricks required. You need to divide each wall length by 9.25" per course and allow 3.25" per course in height. You will be surprised at how many bricks you will need! Buildings are usually designed in brick length units. Where you have doors and windows reduce the quantity of bricks accordingly. BYR3/r. Ridge tiles Terracotta ridge tiles for use with slate or tile roofs. Supplied at 90degrees. .
Size 17mm wide, 12mm tall.
Packed in packs of 10

BYB4 pk. 250 & BYB5 pk. 100 Multi-red brick brick slips
These are bricks cut in half length ways. They can be used as 'queen' closures in 9"
walls or more importantly can be stuck to a flat surface e.g. 3mm ply to make walls.

Packed in quantities of 250 or 100.

ROOFING

BYR1 50, BYR2 100. Real slates
Real slate tiles 25mm x 13mm which can be fixed to roofing
batons using P.V.A. adhesive.
Supplied in packs of 50 or 100.

BYW1 pk. 10 Slate building blocks
These are cut to 16mm wide and can be used to build walls, buildings or platform
edges. Can be broken or cut into shorter lengths, note supplied in various
thicknesses.
Packed in quantities of 10.

BYR4 250. Roof tiles
Supplied with weathered effect. They can be glued to roofing
batons with P.V.A. adhesive.

Size 14mm tall x 9mm wide. Supplied in packs of 100.

BYR3/s. GREY Ridge tiles
Slate effect ridge tiles for use with slate or tile roofs. Supplied at
90degrees.
Packed in packs of 10.Size 17mm wide, 12mm tall.

20 Grey Paving Slabs
Grey paving suitable for platform edges, general paved areas of your station or street paving. 20 off 1" x 1¼". Equals 25 square inches.

Mortar/Adhesives/Surfaces

Mortar/Grout Mix Contains real cement and fine sand. It is mixed with a little water and PVA adhesive. If using out-doors Out-door PVA is recommended.

BYA2.

BYB2 Slate Urinal 3 bay kit.
Victorian urinal made from real slate. It is based on many
urinals of the time and would have been built on the side of
a station building, with access to the platform by a modesty
screen, but with no roof. Common in small stations
throughout the British Isles.
You will need to add your own plumbing.

BYB1 Victorian style greenhouse

A scale 8' x6' greenhouse with bench, made from wood and clear plastic. Shower proof but not suitable for permanent outdoor use. Available soon, with other accessories planned. (See BusyBodies page).
