Kit 1 Bogie composite goods brake
This kit is based on the Tralee & Dingle No 221. built by the Bristol Wagon & Carriage Co. which also built stock for the Lynton & Barnstable Rly.
The kit includes bogies (diamond frame), truss rods, sliding doors, brass rod for door handles and grab rails. The roof is aluminium and can be made removable  if desired. For tail lamp and vacuum pipes see accessories. Uses include locomotive support van as a 330g can of gas will fit inside, and can be run on its own or in a mixed train, it also goes well with Garratts.
Available in 32 or 45 mm gauges, length over buffers 432 mm, width 100mm, height 141 mm.
Supplied to either 32mm or 45mm gauge.
 

 

Kit 3  Bogie goods van
This goods van is to a freelance design to go with Kit1 or other kits such
as  I. P. Engineering or Roundhouse.

The kit includes bogies, aluminium roof and brass door handles. This size
of  van goes well with Garratts.

Available in 32 or 45mm gauges.

Kit 3/NB  Bogie goods van Body kit only

Kit 2  Bogie 4 plank open wagon.
This 4 plank bogie open wagon is based on early 20th century wagons built for WW1 use as well as later railways. These wagons were used for many purposes such as
carrying coal, stone, farm produce and manufactured goods.

This kit is supplied to 32mm gauge with either small or large bogies. Length over buffers 340mm, width 89mm, height 68mm. Supplied to 32mm or 45mm gauge.
 
Eminently suitable for weathering and customising!

Industrial range
This is a range of kits designed to represent rolling stock used by small industrial railways such as vegetable farms, turf cutting, peat suppliers and mineral miners.

Kit 4 Shunting/match truck
A really useful truck for coupling anything to anything a must for all  railways. The kit includes multi-height buffers, brass handrails and handrail knobs. You can throw away those paper clips!
Photo shows truck with shuntsman (made by Busy Bodies) exclusive to  Jim's Models and coupling/tool chest (made by AnDel models exclusive to Jim's Models) which are optional extras. See special offer! Available in 32 or 45mm gauges.

Kit 5 Flat wagon
This a basic wagon adaptable to many uses. Supplied with wheels

Kit 6
Plank ended wagon
This kit has individual plank ends and can be adapted to your requirements. Used for crops like peas, potatoes, products like peat turf and for what you like! Supplied with wheels and buffers to 32 mm gauge only.

Kit 7   Dinorwic guards van (Fan y Giard)
A small van, mounted on wheels, carried on the last transported in the train. The van was used as a shelter for the brakesman who operated the transporter's long brake handle.

This kit is a scale model of the van preserved in the Talyllyn Museum. It comprises the latest laser cut wood parts as well as couplings, glazing and Slater's wheels. Choice of single or double flanged wheels to 32mm gauge only.
